*Comes up gasping for air* Hi all!
*Still breathing heavily* This is Craig -- the Co-Founder/CEO of Proplay, a marketplace for online learning communities that help you achieve your professional goals. So, I just spent the past 3 weeks in football camp fighting for my life to make the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Some of you may or may not know, but football camp is not like your ordinary summer camp. Instead of archery and swimming in the lake you get 4 hour long practices and meetings till 8:30 at night. No joke here’s a look at one of our days.
Either way I have officially made the team so now I have just enough time to pump out this Newsletter ha.
What happened these past 2 week (or so)
Doug has completed the last features needed for the Beta launch. Woo hoo!!!!! The in app purchase is approved by apple and we are able to lock and unlock content!
Now it’s time for me to start getting real life users into the app. I will be utilizing Austen Allred’s growth hacking techniques laid out in these posts…
Twitter growth hacking

I will be targeting defensive lineman ages 18-25 for our first user group since all the content I will be creating will be based on my knowledge of defensive line. The game plan is to get about a thousand users who we can start getting feedback from to improve the app.
Furthermore, I will begin to create videos from this content sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xjZy6arcD5qRzSpXDPuQ4Gqj9QPMBHWD0ypMHOc55Yg/edit?usp=sharing .
What’s happening these next 2 weeks
For these next two weeks we will be producing content, getting beta users in the app, cleaning up some UI issues and building some features that will allow us to get feedback seemlessly for current and upcoming features.

We have been running into an issue where I upload the designs through Zeplin and Doug takes the code output from Zeplin, but what is in the app looks different from my designs. Has anyone else had this issue? Doug was saying that this issue comes from having different screen sizes and a way to fix it is to do custom sizing for every type of screen. This seems pretty labor intensive so if anyone knows how to tackle this problem more efficiently would love the help.
We are always looking for mentors and advisors with ed tech, marketplace and startup experience so if you would like to talk more frequently please let me know!
